Ethernet to ThunderBolt - Should this be removable MAC Address or Peripheral Type?

I've used Removable Mac Addresses, but we were hoping to add some sort of label as our number of Ethernet to ThunderBolt adapters has grown dramatically this year.

I assume we're still stuck with unlabeled connectors? Do some of your use both fields? Add it to the removable MAC addresses, and also create a peripheral type with a custom label?

They need to be Removable MAC Addresses. Part of the identification of a machine is by the MAC address. If you don't add them as removable MAC addresses, there is a risk of overwriting or incorrect inventory information if the adaptor is shared between machines.
