Hi folks,
The company i work for is going through a rebrand - we issue a custom desktop background when we create our laptop.
Design has sent us a new desktop background to be used going forward, but I thought it would be cool, if we could identify any users using the old desktop background and change them automatically - does anyone have a method for this? (specifically finding the users, i'm pretty comfortable with changing the background)
Side note - has anyone ever had to do this? I wondered if I packaged up the new one with the same filename as the old one and stuck it in the same location on the client machines, if it would automatically change for anyone using the old background - or does MacOS copy an image from it's original location to a system directory when you set it as background.
Thanks!
