Okay...So we deploy the Flip Player to all our users, but we have a select number that have the Pro version. I am trying to package it, but have a question on the Application Licensing side...anyone have a License setup in the JSS for Flip4Mac? I'm wondering how to tell the difference between the player and the pro version since they both use the same app?
Thanks

Perhaps there is a license key in the Flip4Mac preference file that you could grep out and feed the results into an extension attribute.

Yup, referencing another JN Article.

But from that extension attribute, how can you feed it into the Licensed Software portion?

an EA defeats the purpose of the licensing feature in Casper.
You should be able to change the name of the executable you are tracking in the Software Licensing part of Casper. For example, everyone with player gets WMV Player.app, right?
So make the ones that get Pro have WMV Player Pro.app, and set that as the licensed software to define, not simply WMV Player.app. Changing the name of the .app bundle does not affect the executable actually running, but will cause casper to look at the same software "differently."
