Well, Josh and the gang at AFP548 put up an article yesterday on how to get
the hardware specific Lion install for your machines.

Glad someone figured this out fairly quickly.

I noticed this myself but thought I was wrong.
So forked images all the way eh?
I made a feature request awhile ago so that packages can also have the option to only install if model matches (think similar to processor type).
Would be very handy.
Regards,
Ben.

Let's hope not!
I think that even for Apple this would be too much of a support burden.

A good idea. The implementation could be similar to the PowerPC vs. Intel
processor option in Casper Admin.

Yep that's what I meant to say.
All the information is there as processor etc is taken from a system profiler report.

Ben.
