How can I tell the status of a package deployment in JAMF?

My manager is looking for a manner of checking the package deployment progress.

If I look at the policy status, it only shows the computer in question that is still pending. Once the policy completes, it then goes to the policy history. But my manager wants to be able to see just how far along the deployment progress is.

Is that possible?

If not, is it at least possible to see where on the target computer the dmg/pkg files are copied to before they are installed? So we can confirm that the actual installer progress has started?

On the target machine, check the /var/log/jamf.log file. Nothing gets reported back to the JSS until the final step (success/fail).
