Internal Server Error when trying to scope a new configuration profile

Hey Guys, we have a freshly setup JSS server and we just finished out JumpStart. We built a configuration profile via profile manager in lion server 10.7.3 to handle a few basic things like directory binds/login window and dock items. I uploaded the configuration profile to the JSS without issue, but when I click the scope button to assign to all computers I get the following error:

Internal Server Error
An error occured while processing HTTPRequestAction 'EditOSXConfigurationProfile': java.lang.NumberFormatException: null

Our JSS is running on 2008 R2. Database shows as healthy as well.....any ideas?

bump, anyone seen this error before?

we were able to resolve this error by restoring our database from a nightly backup. The root cause of the issue is still unknown....possibly related to uploading a "corrupted" configuration profile to the JSS.
