I am running 7.3 but also had this in 7.2
Ive started using extension attributes and then creating smart groups based on the results and then have polices that act on these groups to fix the error that put the computers in the group
For example I have an extension attribute for Flash Player Version, it checks version and if not the current adds it to a smart group and a policy then runs to install the latest flash player

sometimes when recon gathers ts info, and gathers extension attributes it puts them in the WRONG list,
for example, i have a umber of extension attributes, Flash Version, KeyServer Version, AD Mount Type (afp or smb) OD Computer Managed group, UpTime, etc
Some of these i display in the inventory,
Sometimes the computers will have the wrong info in thw wrong column so for KeyServer Version it says afp, for UPTime it says ODGroupStaff, and for Flash Version is has the KeyServer Version,
All of which puts the computer into the wrong smart group when it doesnt need to be, and thus runs a policy to reinstalled Flash Player when its already at the correct version, or tries to readd the computer to the OD Group its already in.
A second recon will update the data with the correct entry in the correct fields, but WHY does this happen?
Any ideas ? Any one else had this? Is it fixed in version 8 ?
