Now that iOS 6 has been finished, is there any information on when Casper 8.7 will be released and what new iOS management abilities will be present with iOS 6?
-Thanks

I've really been trying to find documentation on what new management options Apple has opened up to MDM developers with iOS 6 and haven't had much luck so far.
I did find this bulletin from the AirWatch MDM developer this morning on what feature's they're supporting with iOS 6:

(Sorry, not trying to spam, just trying to document what's possible)
...so although we haven't seen a formal announcement from JAMFsoft yet, hopefully JSS 8.7 will have similar features and maybe even more.
-Thanks

I wouldn't be surprised to see some update come out from JAMF later today or tomorrow at the latest. Since iOS 6 will be out today, most likely in the next couple of hours they will wait until its out, and test whatever update they're working on for compatibility. And then release when all checks out.
I also don't expect the next version to be 8.7, but more likely something like 8.6.1 or such. The .x releases are usually reserved for bigger updates. But who knows? All we can do is wait and see.

Just for additional info, Enterprise iOS (a great resource in itself) posted this article detailing the new management options Apple has made available to developers with iOS 6:
