Is the inventory sync between the JSS and Web Help Desk one-way only?

I haven't dug into this much yet, but we have techs auditing (physically) our inventory of Apple hardware and updating the information in Web Help Desk. We have WHD syncing inventory with our JSS, and it seems that the JSS is overwriting WHD's info. Since we are doing inventory updates in WHD, we'd prefer to have WHD be the authoritative source and have the JSS import the new inventory info. Is this possible?

Web help desk simply imports the inventory from JSS. If you're doing a hardware inventory by hand you should update it in JSS so those records get transferred over to WHD. Is there a specific reason that you are updating the asset records in WHD instead of JSS?
