Pretty 'inception-y' in that the deployment package is actually hidden inside the VMWare Fusion.app bundle - you have to pull it out, and then put the App bundle, as well as the VM's that you'd like to distribute along with the licensing configuration in there.
Great doc, worth a look.

Not at all- that Kbase article wasn't published until pretty recently.
The capability has been present for a while, but was only really well documented just a little while back.
