Jamf Connect in Entra/Hybrid & 802.1X

Hi guys,

I have two big challenges that I am facing right now.

1. Jamf Connect and the configuration in a Microsoft hybrid environment. Jamf Connect is well documented, but I can't find anything about how it can be configured in a Microsoft hybrid environment, in Entra/Azure itself it is super documented.

2. how do I configure a classic 802.1X authentication via Jamf Pro? You won't find anything real online. But I've already come across the Jamf ADCS Connector, is that the way?

Thanks in advance for the help!

Jamf Connect uses Entra, and has no involvement to AD or Certificate Services in any way shape or form.  Jamf ADCS Connector is the tool you are looking for.

I did not care for the ADCS Connector while we used it. It does not really dumb things like handles the certificate issuing off a local admin account it creates rather than using a LDAP account (if you are using ADCS obviously you have AD and would want to use that to handle accounts). All of this can be changed, but Jamf does not document how to do it very well. There is a good instructions doc on one of Jamfs GitHub repo's I suggest reading, but I can't find it right now.
