The Jamf Pro 10.6 beta focuses on new integration features for device compliance and security, as well as a new database utility for use with Jamf Pro. Here’s an overview of what’s new:

iOS Conditional Access

Microsoft Intune integration and Conditional Access came to Jamf Pro late last year for macOS, and will now be available for iOS. You can now integrate Jamf Pro with iOS Azure Active Directory to support conditional access policies in Azure AD. This ensures your iOS devices are secure before they can access data like Office 365.

Active Directory Certificate Services Integration

In addition to Conditional Access, you can now add Active Directory Certificate Services (AD CS) as a PKI Provider in Jamf Pro. This will allow you to issue digital certificates via the Certificate Payload. Integration with AD CS requires installation of the Jamf AD CS Connector, which can be found in Jamf Nation via My Assets once released. For the beta, please reference the release notes.

Jamf Pro Server Tools

This beta also provides the opportunity to test the new Jamf Pro command-line utility, which allows you to more easily perform server and database maintenance tasks. The new tool contains all the functionality of the Jamf DB Utility and can be used for simple commands and configuration changes for both Tomcat and MySQL.

How to join the beta

If you would like to participate in the beta program, please enroll at the beta homepage on Jamf Nation under My Assets. After enrollment, please reference our Release Notes for a complete listing of what is included in the beta build. Remember, this is a beta release. We strongly encourage that you not install this software in a production environment.

As always, the beta program is operated under non-disclosure, so please do not share any information regarding your testing on any public forum, including the non-beta sections of Jamf Nation. Use the Jamf Nation beta forums or contact Jamf with any questions regarding the beta.

Thank you to all those who participate in the program.

Love the ADCS integration! Cert management has been a huge pain for us; assuming this will work similarly to AirWatch to relay certs from the internal ADCS to an internet-connected client via the JSS (including cloud-hosted).

If this does not include a fix for the MDM profile suddenly becoming unapproved when a user installs a VPP assigned app through Self Service, it would be a waste of time to install. I don't care about any new features until this is fixed.

@donmontalvo There's a specific beta discussion board just for these kind of questions. Ask there. Or wait until 10.6 is released.

Any Idea on when 10.6 will be released to enterprise?
