I was wondering if anyone on the forums is using the JAMF SCCM plug 2.0 and what their experience has been so far. We are in the middle of getting it configured and it has been somewhat difficult. If anyone has any tips or undocumented workarounds please post or contact me off list. jbush (at) expedia (dot) com

I just wanted to follow up on this thread with an update. We installed the plugin version 3.11 in our lab and in production successfully. It's a bit tricky, but if anyone has questions deploying this in a large enterprise I would be glad to help. It's installed on SCCM 2012.

I've only had one chance to configure the SCCM plugin. The setup was easy, download the JSS Conduit and the SCCM Plugin, copy to your SCCM server and configure to point to your JSS.

Where I didn't have enough time to troubleshoot was that the import appeared to have been successful, however, the hardware/software info was still not available in the SCCM.

The issue we are seeing is JAMF wanting an "all in one" solution it seems to be the only supported configuration. My SCCM administrator wants it on an management point. It does't seem to work any other way, but on the main.

We're actually discussing the SCCM Plug-In with JAMF now. How are you guys leveraging the Suppress Application lists you have in JSS, so the data being piped to SCCM doesn't include a bunch of unnecessary noise?

Suppress Application Data was not being utilized for my JumpStart.

Jason-
Do you know when there will be SCCM 2012 compatibility?
Thanks

Hey Jared,

All i can really say right now is that development is working on an update which will support SCCM 2012. The progress is promising and the updates I've seen so far are looking really good!

That's all we can say at this time.

Thanks,

Hi Jason,

This might make you shudder after the 2 weeks of calls we had, but I may call you about this plugin.

You have been warned!

jhbush1973, I'll take any general pointers you have on this. We are about to implement 3.11.

Will be looking to implement version 3.30 on SCCM 2012, and JSS 9.23. Wondered if anyone ran into issues, or if it is still straightforward.

@agirardi the worst part is the certificates on the Windows side and getting that correct. I haven't used the new version under Version 9 of the JSS. The old version wasn't very useful if you needed FV information. It showed basic machine info and what applications were installed. I believe FV info and lots of other data is now available.
