Hello all,
I've had this little issue off and on for a while, and I'm not sure what causes it. But I've had enough of it, so I wanted to see if anybody else had seen this. When looking at the Policies on the JSS (Management tab, Policies), I see this in red text above the list of policies:
Looking up Policy Assignments: java.lang.NullPointerException
Anybody else having this issue? It occurred with v4 and v5 of the JSS.

I have in 4. I'm not sure what causes this but does tend to disappear after
a while.

Hello Brian,
A possible cause would be computer groups having been removed from the JSS, but a policy is scoped to that group. Try looking at policies scoped to groups, and see if any include groups that no longer exist.
Thanks.

Josh,
Your suggestion to look for policies scoped to groups which no longer exist was helpful. I had two policies whose groups had been removed. I deleted the policies -- I can rebuild them later if needed. I no longer receive the java.lang.NullPointerException error.
Thanks!
