Thought this link might be helpful for anyone who's on the fence about the Segway tour!

My partner and I did this for his birthday a few years ago and we had a blast!
One downside was our Segways had three keys for three speeds. We had to use the low-speed key the first half of the trip and the middle-speed key the second half. Never got to use that high-speed key. Another downside: their helmets aren't flattering.
Upside: the sensation of rolling backwards up a hill was really cool and you get a little free time to just play.

First, sorry about the technical issue on the mini session! It's been temporarily removed from the site but should be back up and running later today in case you're interested in getting more details or signing up; will keep everyone posted.
As for the low, medium high speeds. The two times I've done this tour, it was on full speed out the gate. No keys or regulators on these bad boys up Nort'.
Both times they also gave the group 10 minutes for "recess" where you drive around like a bat out of hell. Which is awesome for two groups of people:
- rebel children that want to take their Segway experience to the fringes
- people like me that enjoy witnessing someone in their group wipe out on a Segay while hot doggin' down a hill or attempting an insanely sharp turn
