JSS 9.6 and Uploading Icons to Self Service

Every time I try to upload an icon to the JSS for SS, i get an unsupported file. I opened the pic and then exported as a jpg and still got unsupported file.

Anybody else running into this?

I believe it needs to be in a .png format.

Uploading as a PNG worked for me.

I think icons have to be a GIF or PNG for self service uploads.

GIF or PNG, recommended size in 128x128 pixels.

Edit: We double ours at 256x256 so they always look good on new Retina displays as well. It's been a while, so I don't remember if I was trying to be smarter than the JSS or if I saw a difference. :)
But at that size, all of the PNG files work fine. JSS 9.32.
