Hi All,
Is anyone using Juniper VPN (Network Connect)? I'm not sure how to go about packaging this thing. I need to push it to all laptops, rather than have users install when connecting for the first time.
Thanks,
Jon

I'm using it at my shop. What version of Network Connect are you using?
Thanks,
Rich

Just starting with v7.0.
I've got a package for 6.4 already, but I did not create it. I guess I can capture what happens with installation in Composer, since I don't get an installer downloaded when connecting to the Juniper box – it all happens through Java(?). The old package has everything under .PKInstallSandbox-tmp at the root – just wondering if there's a better way.
Thanks…

I packaged it simply doing a Composer Snapshot while I was connecting to SSLVPN and allowing it to install all the components.

We use the .pkg installer and then a follow on preference file marked FEU/FUT for the connection site.

If you're using 7.0, you should be able to push the vendor-provided package as-is without modifying it. I'm including it as part of a DeployStudio build train, where the package installs at first boot.
Are you seeing issues in your testing?
Thanks,
Rich

Thanks – I was just having trouble getting the "vendor-provided package" from my network guys, and trying to package it by connecting to the VPN and Composing it. They should come through eventually, though…
