Lenovo Ideapad 330 Keyboard Issue

Hello, I’ve some problems with my keyboard.

I have a Lenovo Ideapad 330 Ryzen 5 laptop that I purchased a couple of years ago and it does not store the L, K & spacebar keys while writing on documents.

I’ve to press those keys several times for it to work. I am a little bit confused, is it a mechanical problem? Or a software issue? Should I need to replace my keyboard? I am unable to fix the issue.

Any help should be appreciated.

Hi @brownharris561 , If your laptop is old enough, then it might because of dust and dirt in your keyboard motherboard. If you have a blower then try to clean the internal dust and try it again.

Otherwise, note down all the keys which are not working with the help of keyboardtester.io & then to replace those keys. It is totally hardware issue. 

Hi @shreyamathur651 , My laptop is around 2 year old and it just got out of warranty in March. 

I've pessed only Shift key and it shows a lot of keys were pressed at the same time. Seems like my keyboard is damaged somehow.

And it worked!. it involves shutting down the laptop and press a combination of Fn+S+V and then press the I/O button for 60 seconds and it now works again!. the method in the video is for an Ideapad 320, but it worked on my 330 17ICH, so there you go. OneCognizant Login
