Hey everyone,
My predecessor was managing Google Chrome updates and not allowing it to automatically update by issuing this command on the policy under "Files and Processes":
defaults write com.google.Keystone.Agent checkInterval 0
Currently, I'm still managing these updates using AutoPKGr - which is nice but I'm wondering if I should even manage the updates at all and let Chrome automatically update? I have about 8,000 devices out in the wild...
Do you manage chrome updates or let it auto update?

Be aware that even with the keystone setting that is for auto checking for updates. If a users in Chrome goes to about Google Chrome, it will update itself.

@Cornoir It won't update even if you go to About Google Chrome. It will throw me an error every single time. It will even tell me to "Automatically update chrome for all users - Learn More" it will also inform users that "Chrome cannot keep itself up to date. Please click here to fix." - when clicked it prompts for an admin username and password to make the necessary changes to allow it to work again.
Im just wondering if people manage chrome updates for users or just let the application automatically update itself.
