Management Commands pending

I know there are more questions about this, but there is no clear answer and every now an then i guess any Jamf admin will run into it.

Can someone point me in the right direction when command like removing config profles or assigning them to a macbook are just stuck at pending.

The device seems to report in with inventory and check ins as expected, but i feel something is just waiting for failure.

Any help or experience would be helpfull

Thanks!

The easiest solution is to just have the user reboot the computer. I see this on a regular basis.

Ensure the devices are able to reach the APNS Service, run the Mac Evalution utility on those affected devices to ensure they can reach all the Apple services.

you can try removing the Pending and failed commands and send the quick blank push to try again.

Agree, you can cancel the remote command and retry or If it eventually fails Jamf will automatically resend the command every six hours. To manually force the attempt, use the “Send blank push” management command.
