I built a NetBoot image using OS X 10.9.2 on a MacBookPro11,1 and am serving it out with a OS X 10.8 Mountain Lion Server. Whether served over NFS or HTTP, the machine fails to boot any MacBook Pro (Early 2011). It works flawlessly on every other machine / model including the MacPro6,1.
No errors appear in the NetBoot Service Log. The following error appears in a verbose boot log: "error loading kernelcache (0x7)".
I found a previous discussion on JAMF Nation about this error where there was a checksum issue on the kernelcache file. I've already confirmed that my MD5 hash matches the copy on the server with the original NetBoot capture using System Image Utility.
HALP?

Have a look at the following thread, especially the linked script & 32MB kernelcache.

@bentoms is correct, the issue is due to the kernelcache. That thread has instructions to fix this issue.
