We're on the road to migrating our managed encryption agent from McAfee ePO (ePolicy Orchestrator) to a Jamf-managed FileVault policy. Oh, thank Zeus!
Before we do, the McAfee agent won't go without a fight. There's a command that McAfee gives us that doesn't even scratch the surface on removing their agent and software:
/Library/McAfee/cma/scripts/uninstall.sh
After a restart, the agent is still there and the computer is still encrypted.
Does anyone have any experience with migrating away from this software without needing an Erase & Install on each computer? We've been having a hard time getting the agent to decrypt the computer and then remove itself.
