Hi everyone, I'm having some trouble creating a script that will alter the menu bar
settings. Has anyone accomplished this with bash for the logged in user?

Managed Preferences in the JSS is one way you can manage the Apple menu bar.

Look for com.apple.mcxMenuExtras when selecting "Creating Setting from Template" for the items you can add or remove.

Is this for a non Apple application and adding its menu item?

It's for the system pref indicators. It's strictly for my student AD
domain users.
