Hi all,
So, for High Sierra I had a "Erase all Contents and Settings" esque policy in self-service that I used to do in place eraseinstalls using the startosinstall binary.
Figuring that of course, Mojave's startosinstall would work the same way, and confirming that only a few flags needed to be deleted from the script that ran after the package install finished, I packaged up my Install macOS Mojave.app, had it simply copy it into Applications, and packaged it up in Composer as a dmg.
However, now it seems like something is trying to start an in-place upgrade the moment it finishes copying. It doesn't appear to be a OS process, as manually coping the file into /Applications doesn't do anything. Is Jamf seeing that it's a macOS installer and trying to kick off this upgrade? Or am I just being thick and missing something totally obvious?
