OK...
We recently discovered that our Casper Server is under powered and the JSS is continually locking up. Our JSS currently is running on Mac OS X 10.6.7 Mac Mini. We are moving it to a Server 2008 R2 Standard. I have the JSS installed on the Windows server, but I am having problems moving the DB from the Mac to windows machine. Is there anyone that can put me on to a good procedure?
Thanks,

Well basically...
I exported the jamfsoftware .sql out of the JSS utility, and tied the new MySQL on WIndows to that file per the Setup instruction. when I logon to the webapp, nothing is in there. I tried the mysql dump and no luck. I have sql.gz file created by the backups on the MAC server. Truth be told, it is likely I am putting the DB in the wrong place. Any guidance would be appreciated?

Just confirming the version of Casper that you installed on 2008R2 is the same as what you're currently running (i.e. you can't import a 7.3 DB into MySQL if you're running Casper 8.1, without running the upgrade scripts first).

I've done this, with the assistance of JAMF Support (since I'm no SQL wiz), and this is one of my criticisms of the cross-platform guide - that this step's not documented...
