MYSQL Root Password Alter

Does anyone know what commands to run to Alter the root password for MYSQL upon initial configuration? This is the first time where I am doing it where it is forcing a password change. Thank You!

My recommendation would be to ask JAMF support for the command.

Posting something that works on the current MySQL version may ruin someone's day in the future as a slight error or incompatibility could lock them out entirely.

I'd hate for that to be because of a command I posted!

Thanks for the answer David, I was able to figure it out after digging through some MYSQL Documentation. Good call on the command check. I could have easily made that mistake before posting this request if someone had done that in the past.
