Okay here is what I am trying to do. I have several accounts on machines that need draconian level restrictions. I have limited what apps can run and what the clients can do via configuration profiles created in jamf. I keep getting a pop up on the client side saying you do not have authority to run this app "jamfagent". What I need is a way to add this application to the configuration profile via allow applications, or a way to modify the mobile configuration to add this app. Any thoughts on this would be helpful.

I'm not sure how you've set things up.
But JAMFAgent needs to run as root, or rather as your management account elevated via SUDO.
So, what right has your JAMF management account got?

I wonder if this is related to jamfAgent (Not responding)?

This is strictly a matter of implementing the use of a configuration profile and seemingly not having a way of adding to the profile an app in this case the "JamfAgent" that is not in the pull down in the JSS. What I did read in an Apple article on building profiles via the Apple server is "To add an application or folder to the list, it must be installed on the Profile Manager server." What I am now wondering is if I enroll my server that is hosting the JSS if I will get the JamfAgent in the list?
