Nomad sign issue

Hello All,

 

One mac user reported that he is not able to sign into Nomad, how can I do the troubleshooting to find the cause?

Others users are able to sign into Nomad, so it seems like related to mac device not related to deployment through JAMF. Any idea will be appreciated. Thanks!

More information would be helpful, like the error or response codes they are getting when they attempt to sign in.

 

Odds are the issue is on AD's side. Things to check:

  • The user's PW is wrong.
  • The user's PW does not meet the network requirements. 
  • Their account is locked.
  • Flag is set (i.e. change PW at next login) that NoMad cannot accommodate.

If all else fails, just like any other application follow the basic cookbook troubleshooting steps:

  • Reinstall NoMad
  • Reset any preferences (exempt and rescope configuration profiles)
  • Reinstall macOS.

If the issue persist you are dealing with an issue with the users AD Object and your Identity Management Team needs to troubleshoot further.

It is for one mac , app is not opening, but for others it is working, which log can tell me what is the cause?
