Outlook 365 won't take logins with Safari in 10.14 suddenly

Hey All,
Not quite JAMF specific, but wondering if anyone has found a workaround to an issue that came up last week. Since then any of our users (as well as peoples personal machines in their homes) who are using Safari and running 10.14.6 are having issues connecting to outlook. They can all sign in to the main page for 365, but when you click on outlook it just hits loops of redirects it seems like. Only answer I've found is to use chrome or firefox.

This does seem like something got changed on Microsofts Server side though since it is affecting machines that have not had a change or update.

I saw a piece on Teams specifically having an issue with the "cross-site tracking" feature, but turning that off also didnt resolve the issue.

Anyone have a solution?

@gshackney We noticed the issue with some of our computers yesterday. However, Microsoft has since fixed the problem; see the link below. We have checked with some of our users that were having the issue, they say that it is not an issue anymore.

Catalina's version of Safari doesn't seem affected though.

Also confirmed on our side - 10.14.16 build 18G1012. Chrome works fine, Outlook just hangs with "Working..." in Safari.

Are you able to log into "https://portal.office.com"? We've been using that URL as a workaround.

YMMV

Seeing the same. Supposedly a fix is coming?

I opened a support case with Apple but they have not been helpful so far.

Safari 13.0.4 and macOS Mojave build 18G2022 seems to have fixed the issue. Tested on a 2013 MacBook Air.
