I am about to file a bug, but wanted to see if anyone else is using Licensed Software may have noticed this.
If you create a Licensed Software entry named "Libre Office - Current" and have the version be say 'like 3.5'. Then create 2 smart groups; a 'current' group whose only logic is that it contains that software license, and an 'outdated' group that contains the application, but not that licensed version.
Now it works great. I have a 'current' and an 'outdated' group. But if I go into Licensed Software and update or add/remove a license (say from 'like 3.5' to 'is 3.6.3.2'), the smart groups do not get updated. It only gets updated if I go back into the smart group and re-select the licensed software application.
The point was to use the Software License entry to update all smart groups for the application, rather than going into each smart group and update manually. Almost like a pointer/alias to the current version, rather than being a 'copy'.
Anybody else notice this, is it an issue with the Licensed Software/ Smart Groups, or is this how it is supposed to work?
Cheers.
