Quick Add Package Creation - "pax" utility

Getting this error while trying to create a quick-add package.

Couldn't create package
The "pax" utility could not create an archive of the contents.
It is possible that the UID and GID are to big for "pax" to handle.
If you are logged in as a network user, try logging in with a local account to create the QuickAdd package.

Come on now. I have to have a local account in order to make a QuickAdd package? That seems new and is totally a pain. I didn't see this error on JN so I thought I would post it incase others notice it.

Its actually not new. Maybe you didn't run into it before. but I've been running into this for years. Thankfully I've only rarely needed to create a QuickAdd.pkg, but I agree, it seems a totally unnecessary annoyance. JAMF should have addressed this years ago. We don't need to be logged into a local account to create packages in pretty much any other packaging application. Not sure why Recon insists on this to create the QuickAdd.

i have this problem with composer as well

I'm running into this issue as well with 9.73... It was working a few days ago, same user account and everything... not sure it would all of a sudden fail.
