[Released] Re: 10.5 to 10.6 Server Upgrade

Clean install!

We tried to upgrade, which we have never done on a server os, and we will continue to clean install in the future.

Ended up formatting, installed clean 10.6.4, reinstalled the JSS, imported the database and we were back in business. We had to reboot a couple of times for our Distribution points to show back up in the JSS utility.

If you have custom settings to tomcat they will also need to be reapplied

I always wipe and reload servers and then restore back ups, but that is
just me. Unless you upgraydd (Idiocracy reference).
