I'm sure I'm not the first to ask this, but I didn't see the answer among my
search results for this listserv.
I have created a managed preference for the user's home page (mcx_homePage)
and set it to a specific home page. I then decided to remove this
preference as I hadn't realized it would lock down the home page (I wanted a
Once setting rather than an Always setting). My users can no longer change
their home page in Safari.
What I've tried (without success), in order:
1. Removed the managed preference from the profile and restarted.
2. Re-added the mcx_homePage preference, set it to "Make this Preference
Unmanaged," and restarted.
3. Ran sudo jamf mcx and restarted.
What else do I need to do to remove this preference?

These two commands worked for mobile accounts as well. Thanks!
