What are the software requirement prior to installing Netsus/netboot on RHEL???

I don't think there are any software requirements other than the OS. The official requirements are listed on page 3 of this guide: http://content.jamfcloud.com/NetBootSUSLPServerUserGuide_v4.0.0.pdf

So Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) 6.4 or later should work.

I normally just use the appliance though.

There's nothing extra you need, the installer does it all.
