Self Service SUS - Admin?

I wanted to allow the users to update their systems through Self Service, however with 10.8 it when I launch the Software Update through Self Service, the app store restriction comes up. Are the two mutually exclusive now (app store restriction and SS software updates)?

You want it to be interactive? I imagine you could just run a script that does a ```
softwareupdate -ia
```
