Several clients stopped automatic check-in

Several of our clients have stopped checking in to Jamf and I'm at a loss as to why or how to fix it. Network connection is fine, I can manually make them check in with "jamf log", and the launch daemons seem to be running as well. For troubleshooting I've rebooted (and installed pending updates on some), re-enrolled, and updated the server version to 10.8 just so the clients would update. All clients are running High Sierra. This started around the end of October. Any insights would be appreciated.
