Does anyone know what Mac software would be generating huge volumes of Internet Traffic using the STUN-NAT protocol? We have a new Cisco wireless network and both on our new Secure network and our old legacy network SSIDs we are seeing just a whole lot of data being pushed in and out using this protocol - in the neighborhood of 100 Gig up and down on our wireless today.
We've blocked the protocol on the wireless networks, but are still experiencing network slowdown and I suspect this is running on the wired network as well where our reporting isn't as robust or granular.
My best guess is someone's hosting a game server on a couple of local clients, but I don't know what to look for to block.
We're a K-12 School with roughy 470 Macs and 280 iPads. I can count the Windows machine in the building on two hands, but I can't eliminate those as a possibility either.
Thanks.
