Thunderbolt Imaging Connectivity Issue

I'm in the testing phase with Casper Imaging (8.64) from a Thunderbolt iMac running 10.8.3 connected in Target Disk Mode to Macbook Airs. The first Air mounts and images without a hitch, but subsequent Airs are not mounting. The iMac shows that the Thunderbolt port is still connected to a device and will not let go and connect to another without rebooting the iMac. I haven't used this particular iMac's Thunderbolt port before so am wondering whether it's a hardware/software issue on this machine or... Any advice?

Have you added the adapter to the Removable Mac Addresses in JSS > Settings > Inventory Options > Removable MAC addresses?

Did you ever resolve this issue? We have had a similar one since last year.
