tvOS Apps not installing

I cannot seem to get tvOS apps to install. It appears to only be affecting Apple TV's, iPads are getting apps just fine. We are using Apple School Manager. All of our certificates are up-to-date. There are also enough available copies of the apps to be installed. JAMF is also up-to-date.

All of our Apple TV's are the latest version on tvOS. The Apps they are trying to install (Netflix for example) are the most recent version showing in JAMF.

Once a command is sent to install the app, it immediately returns an error of "The MDM request is invalid."

You need to add VPP licence (even if the apps are free) to assign them to Apple TV.

I'm running into the same thing. I've downloaded the apps from the App Store, I've even tried downloading them from Apple Business manager portal, but still no not working. Have you had any luck with getting the apps to install?
