Upgrading Crashplan from 4.X to 5.X

Anyone have experience upgrading CrashPlan PRO E from 4.X to 5.X? The server in-place upgrade only allows our 4.3.4 version to go to 4.5.2.

I was told by our support rep (who has not responded in a few days), that to get to 5.2.0,, I'll need to uninstall 4.5.2 and re-install 5.2.0.

I've successfully uninstall and reinstalled 5.2.0, but it shows up in the CrashPlan admin console as a completely new device and the device says it has never been backed up. (despite having the same name).

We just made the jump today from 4.3.4.1 to 5.1.2 on the server side. The users have been auto-upgraded and will be living with the 4.5.2 client for now until we decide to roll to 5.x... but I see nothing about needing to remove 4.5.2 to do this...
