I'm trying to configure some Configuration Profiles on OS X to replace what we had been using before, which was .mobileconfig files. Being able to update things on the fly sounds better from a management perspective then having to rewrite files and manually test them. I created 4 profiles to test with, they do the following:
"MDM Profile" shows up on the device so I can push the profiles, and the Wired 802.1x profile downloads as well, however none of the other 3 come down. Unlike the Profile which give you an error description, within Config Profiles your just told that it failed and have no clue why or what to change.
I've looked through the console logs and only the error message shows up, nothing about why it failed.

Mobileconfig files are configuration profiles unless I'm missing something. Are you talking about using only the built-in payload options from the JSS and not creating custom profiles?

I'm trying to create custom "OS X configuration profiles" and I've gotten them to push to the device, but some fail and it doesn't say why. In the past we manually created/updated the .mobileconfig files and I'm trying to swing to using JAMF's built in functionality.
