Virtual JSS

Not applicable

Hey everyone,

Just wanted to see if anyone is doing or was thinking of setting up their JSS in a Virtual Machine. Specifically in 10.7 Server.

My thinking is I have a number of services that currently run on server besides the JSS; ASWU, NetBoot, Encryption repository. I've also wanted to add an Adobe Software Update Server. This would also make it much easier to spin up another server if need be.

If you have done it or are thinking of doing so (or just have an opinion) please let me know your thoughts.

How's your disk I/O throughput? This was the main reason we decided to keep it on real iron.

Thanks
