Is anyone converting users from VMWare to Parallels? Or from Parallels to VMWare?

If so, is there a way to script conversion of the users' virtual machines from one format to the other?

I know the chances of this being scriptable is low, and this is probably not the forum to ask.

But I wanted to see if anyone is doing this here.

Thanks,
Don

You can use Parallels Transporter to convert most vm formats to the
Parallels format. I've used the tool successfully numerous times. Also
works to convert a hard disk image to a Parallels VM, though is
time-consuming. Can't speak to converting Parallels vm's to the vmware
format, as I haven't tried it.

Parallels has a converter. I have had success with it.

I prefer VMWare Fusion though.

Hi Tony,

Yes, we've converted users in both directions.
I wanted to see if there is a way to script the conversion.

Thanks,
Don

Gotcha. Sorry, have never scripted the conversion.
