6 Splunk alternatives for log analysis
Splunk may be the most famous way to make sense of mass quantities of log data, but it's far from the only player around

We heard good things about Graylog as a syslog server, but in searching found a good number of them out there.

What are you using to view your JSS logs? You know, when you've got to see what happened, but faster.

TIA

We use Splunk and are very happy with it. Easy to install on RHEL and captures everything we want. It's already come in handy recently in finding some harmless LDAP accounts we were unaware of.

@ryanstayloradobe that's good to hear. What kind of agreement did you get? How expensive is license/support?

@ryanstayloradob - Does this work still?  sending logs from jamf pro to splunk?  I can't find where these settings live.
