Hello:
I have a few students who are not supposed to be able to access the App Store so I've blocked it on those devices. This usually works very well. However, one of these students had a legitimate need for the YouTube app, so I temporarily unblocked the App Store and installed the YouTube app. Once I blocked the App Store again, the YouTube app disappeared again. The YouTube app isn't blocked for students outside of this small group, so I'm not sure why the app disappeared. Also, for the students who are blocked, I first offloaded and/or deleted their non-school apps from their iPads -- so nothing like this should have happened automatically upon blocking the App Store.
Any thoughts about why this happened -- and how to fix/prevent it?
Thank you!

Are you restricting apps by age rating? YouTube is rated 17+. An app outside of the approved age rating will disappear from the device.

Hello @cbrewer No, I just checked and I have all apps allowed.
