Summary

Job Summary: The candidate will be responsible for the stand up and day to day JAMF server and application administration to help complete projects and initiatives relative to the Mac and iOS devices in the environment using the JAMF Suite. This will include the initial stand up of the JAMF solution with SCCM integration and future support efforts and projects such as upgrades, full standardization of OS, and standardization of applications offered on the Mac and iOS platforms.

Job Description

Job Functions and Accountabilities: Stand up, perform SCCM integration and manage either on premises or cloud based JAMF Software Server(s) (JSS). Apply updates/upgrades, backups, and security reviews during scheduled maintenance windows. Provide Tier III user support for all Mac software deployment issues and some desktop configuration issues on Mac systems. Provide training on the JSS platform to other team members when applicable. Develop custom scripts for enhanced security or application functionality. Work with firewall, certificate and network teams to ensure proper communication between JSS and endpoints. Serve as organization’s Apple SME liason, providing senior leadership updates for all current and future projects. Work with support vendor and other technical teams to resolve application issues in a timely manner. Stay current on advancements and changes in the JSS platform and develop an understanding of how new features can be leveraged to provide business solutions. Assist with any security related events and/or occurrences.

Responsibilities

In addition to serving as the JAMF admin, other duties including serving as VDI co-admin using VMWare Horizon with duties to include: Image building, Application installation/packaging, Scripting, Azure troubleshooting, Host Pools/Sessions maintenance, FSLogix administration and basic computer troubleshooting.

Qualifications

Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities: Scripting experience, confidence or desire to further your use of scripting to get your job done is highly desired. Ability to stand up and administer a JSS system, create and fine tune configuration profiles based on business requirements. Self-starting individual with the ability to work independently on issues with minimal supervision. Team player. Detail-oriented technical and strong analytical skills.

Related Experience: 3-5+ years of related professional experience. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related technical discipline. Or, an equivalent combination of education, certifications and experience as required for the specific job level.

Certifications: JAMF Certified Expert, Preferred not required
