I'm still seeing this issue. I run the purge command regularly
throughout the day to free up system memory. Have hd plug-in collection
off for quite a while, allocated more memory to Tomcat, even worked with
tech to drop and restore the entire db in ...
When I rename clients, I go ahead and unbind from our AD, rename then
rebind. I try to keep AD as "clean" as possible...We used pre-stage
imaging to rename a group of computers this summer for distribution, but
we also imaged them. Not sure if pre-st...
just had this issue with having to re-bind a hundred or so teacher
MacBooks. deleted from AD, created script to run before, that "unbinds"
then the policy runds AD binding and sets open firmware password for us.
Works like a charm!
