are supposed to be the times that you DO want unattended updates to
occur. For example, if you set: QUIET_HOURS_START to 2300QUIET_HOURS_END

Hi - sorry, I don't think it works in 10.13 because of the stuff
involving secure tokens. I suspect it can be fixed bu haven't had a
chance to take a look yet. I've replied in more detail to your issue on

Thanks all - just to update the thread: Using sudo turns out to work
fine (though I think the launchctl option is probably much better these
days) The problem was that the icon I was trying to display doesn't
exist on 10.13 However, more testing on 1...
