I have some experience installing OsiriX 64bit: Copy the installer.app
to a temp location (like /Users/Shared) two execute the installer like:
/Users/Shared/OsiriX64bitInstaller.app//Contents/MacOS/OsiriX64bitInstaller
REG-XXX-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX-XXX...
Changing the special characters in the password (in my case the "@") and
using the IP address instead of the FQDN "solved" the "can't mount DP"
for me.
