I'm trying to assign default homepage using HomepageLocation in
com.google.Chrome.plist It doesn't seem to be doing anything. I don't
see the key when I do defaults read com.google.Chrome Is it more
complicated than this?
@matt.vin I just set this up today. This grep script worked for me when
I changed the name of the file as mentioned above. The other script I
found out there using awk didn't work for me today. I had never used
either prior.
Same issue here. Everything I run from self-service is hung on
executing. 10.14 cloud instance. They do run from command line as
mentioned above. I'm using Cloud Distribution point. Is there anything
else I can try?
sorry to dig this old one up. looking for some help with the chown
syntax. So i copied the user folder and moved it to users. Then i bound
the machine to AD. When I try to change ownership, i get variations of
illegal user name or group name dependin...
Yeah, neither. If I do the preference with custom Plist and chrome isn't
even installed yet, I should still be able to read com.google.Chrome
right? I mean it should be writing it even if Chrome isn't installed
yet, right?
